My philosophy for Crystal Life Counselling is simple, it is to provide a safe and confidential space where our clients can feel free to explore their issues without opinion or judgment. This space can then be used to help the client grow and move forward in their lives regardless of their problems.

Hi, my name's Martin and I’m a trained Person-Centred Counsellor and a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.

Despite my training in this humanistic theory, I do believe that there is no such thing as a one theory fits all approach and wanted to develop a service that tailors its approach to the needs of my clients, after all everyone is different !

I focus on accepting my clients for who they are without judgement or bias. I have spent over 30 years working within communities, supporting some of society’s most vulnerable members.

Hello, my name is Becca, and I am a qualified counsellor with several years of experience working with a variety of people who have had many different experiences.

I understand that sometimes life is not easy and there can be times when you may be overwhelmed with what life is throwing at you which can leave you feeling stuck, unsupported or anxious. Perhaps there has been a recent change in your life and it has caused you to feel emotional or something from your past keeps resurfacing and you feel that you will struggle to face it alone. Whatever the reason that you have found yourself seeking counselling, I can assure you that with me you will feel safe, supported and free to explore your feelings at your own pace. I can help you to navigate some of your most challenging emotions and settle at a place where you feel more able to manage them yourself. With counselling, you can build on your resilience and gain a better understanding of yourself by becoming more self-aware.

Whether you have experienced trauma, bereavement, depression or anxiety, or whether you are unsure as to why you are not feeling yourself, I have experience in a wide range of counselling topics and I am here to help you. Picking up the phone may feel difficult at first, however please feel rest assured that you are in safe and confidential hands. Whether you feel you only need a few sessions or whether you would like something more long term, I can accommodate your needs.

Hello, I’m Jessica and I work in a really simple way. My intention is to be a source of safety, acceptance and clarity to allow you to feel supported while you explore what’s on your mind. With a humanist, person-centred approach I like to create the space for you to just be, without judgement, opinions of others and all the noise of a busy modern life to be able to hear yourself more clearly. I believe deeply in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship, that given the right conditions and support you can feel better. When you feel heard, seen and accepted as you are, we can look towards the future and support you in your growth through therapeutic change. However hard things feel at times, freedom from this is possible, you can feel better.


No issue is too big or too small for this style of therapy, it’s integrative and places you at the centre. Through care, compassion and connection with support I can help you in any way. Whether that’s with depression, anxiety or trauma, to lifestyle changes, relationship changes, new jobs or other big decisions you’re facing.


Being seen, being heard, being accepted as you are is the therapy. It can be transformative to let go and speak freely in a safe space. Trust in the power of welcoming your hidden parts, it’s all good here. And it’s all welcome.
